About the camp
Run by the same family for 30 years, the business combines a fish farm, a fish shop and a lakeside restaurant ('Fischkate') with a fireplace and outdoor seating over the Kiessee. Camping is a secondary offer: motorhomes and tents park on the fishery's own enclosed grounds beside the lake, with water usage included in the pitch fee. The lake (20 ha, stocked with perch, eel and carp) and 22 km of the Elbe are both fishable by day, week or season ticket, with boat rental available. The restaurant opens Sundays from mid-May through the season and hosts groups of 15+ for family or company celebrations. Card payment is currently unavailable; cash only.
