About the camp

Park your motorhome right among the vines on the Weinbergswiese (vineyard meadow) of this working winery, close to Nordheim am Main and a short bike ride from Sommerach. Only 2 to 3 pitches are offered on grass or gravel, so the setting stays quiet and informal, with free-roaming chickens, hares and the winery's own cats sharing the grounds. There is no shower, and the toilet is only accessible during the Vinothek's own opening hours. Evenings invite a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the vineyard; in summer, guests can paddleboard or float down the nearby Altmain river. No reservation is needed: arrive, pick a free spot, and stay. The pitch area reopens each year around Easter.
