About the camp
The pitch area sits directly on a winery estate at the foot of the Heuchelberg, giving motorhome travellers quick access to vineyard walking and cycling routes and a small on-site picnic area, the "WeinBergStrand". It suits wine-tourism visitors and cyclists or hikers exploring the Stromberg-Heuchelberg nature park, and travellers who prefer a simple overnight stop over a full campsite: there is no reception beyond the vinothek's opening hours, arrival and departure run 8:00-18:00, and vehicles over 8 m are accommodated. The winery cooperative, founded in 1925 with around 900 grower families, runs vineyard tours and wine tastings and operates a Sunday wine bar from May to September on the same grounds.

The Heuchelberger Warte and Waldschenke "Neuer Berg" lookout points are about 6 km by bike, and the Tripsdrill amusement/wildlife park and Sinsheim thermal baths are about 20 km away.
