About the camp
The pitch sits on the hotel's 'Sonnenalm', a sunny meadow with a Kneipp foot-bath facility, a lounging lawn and a sun terrace in front of a log cabin, looking out over Lake Chiemsee. Guests use the hotel restaurant for Bavarian food, drinks and WC access, and can walk scenic paths from the pitch itself. There are no on-site hookups for power, water or waste disposal, and pitches are allocated on arrival with no advance booking. It suits motorhome travellers who want one or a few relaxed overnight stops near the lake rather than a fully serviced long-stay pitch.
