About the camp
Wohnmobilstellplatz Zollposten is one of five motorhome parking areas the town of Hilchenbach maintains, and the only one with a fixed nightly fee rather than a free or donation-based one. Set among forests at Am Zollposten 2, it is promoted as an ideal base for hikers and mountain or e-bikers: the Rothaarsteig premium trail's 'Weg der Sinne' section passes close by, with the Ginsburg ruin, Ginsberger Heide, Ederquelle and Siegquelle all within reach. The pitch is open around the clock; arriving guests report themselves at the barrier via a call button. Fresh water fill-up and wastewater disposal are available by arrangement.
