About the camp

Run since 2020 by Roelof Kuipers and Tessa Engelhard (with their children Roef and Neo), Belevenishof sits on the working farmyard of Boerderij Mensink and promises an authentic countryside feeling with modern comfort. Guests share the grounds with free-roaming farm animals; the farm's own sheep herd also grazes municipal parks in Oost-Gelre and De Wald, Winterswijk, a distinctive local touch. A modern sanitary building opened in spring 2025, and a guest studio ('atelier') and shared kitchen are planned for 2026. The campsite is SVR-affiliated and welcomes both individual campers and groups by prior arrangement, in the heart of the Winterswijk National Landscape.
