About the camp
Wel Wait is a small farm campsite ('boerencamping') in Nieuwe Pekela, run alongside the family's arable farming business. It is a tourist campsite only, not for residential stays. Pitches are offered for caravans, campers, tents and folding trailers with car access, plus a separate, cheaper pitch type for guests arriving by tent, bicycle or motorbike without a car. The site is affiliated with SVR and the 'Kamperen bij de Boer' farm-camping network, and SVR members pay a reduced nightly rate. Cars may park beside the caravan when the field is dry and there is room, otherwise in front of the barn; bicycles can be stored in the barn overnight. Pets are welcome. Card payment is not accepted.
