About the camp
A small-scale, easy-going campsite on a working farmyard, described by its owners as a good base for exploring Drenthe. The pitches are generous and several have a view over meadow and forest. Campfires are welcome and firewood is on site; cooking over the fire is allowed too. Children have the run of the wide camping field, the adjoining copse, a playground with a sand pit, a picking garden and a football field. The surrounding area carries many walking, cycling and mountain-bike routes (the Veenpluisroute, Wolvenspoor and Sprokkelspoor among them) and bicycles and mountain bikes can be hired by arrangement. The farmyard also holds several group accommodations, so between April and October larger groups are almost always present.
