About the camp
The site puts motorhomes right on a beach at the open water, aimed at windsurfers, swimmers, nature lovers and anyone who wants the view. Because it operates a closed circular electricity and water system and is not connected to Lelystad's mains network, it cannot offer every service. There is no electrical hook-up and there are no showers on site. Motorhome toilets may only be emptied using biological cleaning products, since the site treats its own waste water with micro-organisms. There is a terrace overlooking the water serving mainly organic food and drink, with tarte flambee a house speciality. Batavia Haven, Batavia Stad, the museum, a forest mountain-bike course, the Marker Wadden and the Oostvaardersplassen are all nearby.
