Campercamping Borgerswold is a motorhome-only site on two large open fields in the 450-hectare park Borgerswold at Veendam, with room for 110 campers and a view over the water. The stageld is a flat fee per camper plus a fee per person, and every listed facility is included in it. Reservations are not possible, and the site is run by the Borgerswoldhoeve farm directly across the water.

About the camp
The camperplaats has been part of Veendam for more than twenty years and lies on two large fields beside the water in park Borgerswold, with a new sanitary building just completed. There is room for 110 campers and no way to book ahead: the owners drive the fields each evening to collect payment, and campers they miss leave the fee in the letterbox at the gate of the Borgerswoldhoeve farm on the other side of the water, noting their licence plate. The page stresses the view and says there is plenty for children to do, so many families with young children stay here. The farm also has a second terrain for club and friend gatherings, and a separate website for the camperplaats, translated into German.
