About the camp
Campererf De Beetse is a small motorhome pitch run by the Toersen family on their homestead near Ter Apelkanaal, in the hamlet of Sellingerbeetse. It offers 10 spacious, level, hardstanding pitches for motorhomes with grass around each for sitting outside; motorhomes longer than 9 metres may find the turning circle tight. The site sits on a cycling-node and hiking network, with forest and natural swimming water close by and the historic fortified town of Bourtange within reach. Facilities include an electricity hook-up, toilets, showers, wifi, drinking-water intake, grey-water and chemical-toilet disposal, a washing room and a waste station. Dogs are welcome on a leash, with a dog-walking path in the forest opposite. There is no online booking; visitors reserve by phone or email.
