About the camp
The park lies at the end of a quiet, narrow dead-end road, with spacious motorhome pitches on their own patch of grass inside a coastal nature reserve behind the sea dike. There is no light pollution: from the dike and the outlying land beyond it the sky is genuinely dark, and the Milky Way is visible here as clearly as almost nowhere else in the Netherlands. No sanitary facilities are on site, but grey-water and chemical-toilet disposal plus a fresh-water tap are available without trouble. The adjacent Restaurant De Zwarte Haan is recommended, and the village of Sint Annaparochie is an easy 6 km away.
