About the camp

Camperplaats Blauwestad is a dedicated motorhome stopover on the shore of the Oldambtmeer lake in Blauwestad, Groningen, run by the same operator as the nearby Havenkwartier Blauwestad marina. The asphalt pitch area, resurfaced in 2018, offers space for at least 10 campers in marked bays, each with its own coin-operated power connection; one power pole also has a water tap. Guests step straight out onto a playground and Strand Zuid beach for swimming, and a wooden footbridge leads to the marina and its restaurant. Toilets are shared: free beach toilets in summer (not guaranteed clean) or the marina's code-access toilets and showers. Booking and payment run through the CamperPay system, with departure by noon.
