About the camp

A motorhome-only stopover on a working tulip and flower-bulb farm near Slootdorp, Noord-Holland. Guests park on the former seabed, 5.5 metres below sea level, with uninterrupted views over grain, potato and tulip fields. No reservation is needed: visitors pick their own spot on arrival, and if the main area fills up the farm opens extra space with power on the other side of the property. Facilities include showers, toilets, a grey-water dump point, a chemical-toilet disposal point, a dishwashing area and paid electricity. The owner's wife is happy to share local information, and a small stall sells regional produce and fresh eggs. The site is about 2 km from Wieringerwerf's shops and restaurants, close to Noord-Holland's cycling node network.
