About the camp
Camperplaats Grondsel is an informal motorhome stopover on the grounds of Grondsels Marke, a farm and outdoor-equipment business near Wijster in Midden-Drenthe. The owners are camper travellers who like surprising, slightly rugged spots, so guests can park in open nature when it is dry, on a semi-hardened patch nearer the entrance, or on the fully paved area by the shop when wet. There is no reservation system and usually no need for one. Only around Hemelvaart and Pentecost does the place fill up completely. Arrivals are welcome any time; after dark or past 21:00 guests first get a spot near the shop and can move the next day. A paid camper electrical/technical service is available on site.
