About the camp
A municipal overnight stop for motorhomes at Houtwal, a short walk from Zutphen's historic centre, right behind the police station. Eight spaces are available on a first-come basis, with no way to reserve ahead. Electricity, fresh water and a waste-water dump point are on site, though power and water use is metered and billed afterwards through a third party (Aanuit.net) rather than bundled into the flat rate. At EUR14.80 a night it is a simple, unstaffed stopover for motorhome travellers wanting a central base in Zutphen, not a full campsite with pitches or rentals. Travellers wanting a fuller campsite with more facilities are pointed instead to several campsites outside the town centre.
