About the camp
Jachthaven Strijensas sits where the Hollands Diep, Haringvliet and De Biesbosch meet in the Hoeksche Waard, surrounded by the Sasseplaat and De Oeverlanden nature reserves. Alongside its role as a 370-berth marina — with winter boat storage, a chandlery, mini market, mast crane and trailer slipway — the harbour offers a small number of camper pitches described as a comfortable overnight spot by the water amid nature. Guests can rent stable Canadian canoes (2-, 3- or 4-person, with instruction, dry barrels and life jackets) to explore the Oeverlanden reserve, or unwind at restaurant De Batterij, which overlooks the harbour. On-site facilities include a shop, bike rental, sanitary building, laundry, jeu de boules, free WiFi, free parking and EV charging. The marina is part of the Port Adhoc network and is Blue Flag certified.
