About the camp

Camperplaats Kale Duinen is a small, motorhome-only stopover in Elsloo (Friesland), on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold national park. Guests can reserve one of the front or back pitches in advance for a guaranteed spot, or arrive unbooked and take a remaining one. Both areas offer hardened standing space, free wifi, a water point and a sanitary building with a grey-water/chemical-toilet dump. A separate Trekkershut hut looks out over farmland and the national park, described as fully equipped with its own terrace. The surrounding countryside is promoted for walking and cycling routes, mountain-bike trails, the Aekingerzand sand drift and the Schaopedobbe nature spot.
