Well suited to visitors passing through, guests visiting family or friends nearby, or an overnight stop before a local appointment. The site also welcomes longer stays. The surrounding countryside offers walking and cycling through nature areas such as Weinterper Schar, Duurswouderheide, 't Oude Bosch and the Beetsterzwaag-Olterterp forests, and a sculpture workshop is available nearby.
