About the camp
Named after Rabo H. Scheele and set on the historic Het Weleveld estate near Hertme, this camper stopover was named Camperlocatie van het jaar (motorhome location of the year) in 2018. Because of high demand, reservations are preferably made by email, though phone, the contact form, or simply showing up also work. Guests can arrive at any time of day; departure is expected before 12:00, with a surcharge for a later checkout. Once a year the grounds host the Afrikafestival weekend, when tents and caravans are also welcomed alongside motorhomes at a separate per-person rate, with an optional festival breakfast. The estate also runs its own shop and a veal-meat farm business alongside the camper pitch.
