About the camp
All 25 pitches are hardstanding and easily accessible, each with an electricity connection and access to water points, free wifi and a heated sanitary building; a covered area provides a dishwashing spot and a coin-operated spin dryer. Arrival is self-service: guests take a free spot or find their reserved one by number plate, then check in and out at a touchscreen kiosk in reception, which totals and settles the pitch and electricity charges automatically by card or cash. The reception also hands out a 30 km cycling route to Bad Bentheim's hilltop medieval sandstone castle, still inhabited but partly open to visitors, returning past the Ostmühle watermill in Gildehaus and the Gildehauervenn nature area.
