About the camp
Camperstandplaats De Nieuwe Hateboer is a free municipal motorhome stopover in Sittard, run by the Sittard-Geleen municipality, offering 10 parking spaces next to the De Nieuwe Hateboer swimming pool on Sportcentrumlaan. Use of the pitch is free of charge, but registration is required on arrival; advance reservation is not possible and space is available on a first-come basis. Overnight stays are limited to caravans, motorhomes and camper cars parked in the designated bays, for a maximum of 48 consecutive hours per week; tents and objects such as barbecues may not be set up outside the vehicle. On-site facilities are basic: wastewater disposal, a water tap and waste bins.
