About the camp
Camping Besten publishes its 2026 tariffs online: a per-night pitch rate for 1-2 people that already includes sanitary facilities, hot water, metered electricity (5kW/day), wifi, tourist tax, environmental levy, toilet paper and bike storage. Rates are lower in April, September and October and highest from May to August, with weekly and multi-week arrangements offering a further per-night discount for longer stays. A reduced rate applies to a single hiker or cyclist bringing a small tent. The campsite has no permanent seasonal pitches. During the Ascension-to-Pentecost period a 4-night minimum stay applies, and payment is due the day before departure by cash or bank transfer only (no card payments).
