It lies in the heart of the Achterhoek near Ruurlo, amid meadows, forests and historic castles that make the area popular for cycling, mountain biking and walking. A fully furnished Kabe touring caravan with awning can be rented from 1 April to 1 October. The site is run by Chiel Tragter and Susanne Stoevelaar and is affiliated with the Stichting Vrije Recreatie (SVR). Nearby, Ruurlo village offers an outdoor saltwater pool with a large slide and what the site describes as the largest hedge maze in Europe.
