About the camp
Camping Coterlet ('kamperen bij de boer') sits directly next to the Lokhorst family's farm Mansgoed, on the edge of the Veluwe nature area. It has 25 spacious pitches with 7.5A electricity hook-ups, arranged in courtyards screened by shrubs with views over the surrounding farmland, and the site is lit at night. It is a base for cycling and walking routes -- a regional cycle-node junction is 500 m away -- plus fishing, and indoor and subtropical swimming pools within cycling distance. Nijkerk, Spakenburg and Amersfoort are all within about 10 km. Facilities include a sanitary building with showers, toilets and a laundry room, free wifi, a playground with trampoline and go-karts, a boules court, covered bike storage and a small library. Dogs are welcome on a lead. The farm separately rents the Mansgoed apartment, a 5-star-rated (Airbnb) bed & breakfast for two, booked outside the campsite reservation system.
