About the camp
Camping De Groene Halte sits at Trambaan 6 in Nieuweroord, Drenthe, and is run by Geuko and Metta Urbach. The campsite welcomes caravans and tents from 1 April to 30 September (limited opening during the autumn half-term), and keeps motorhome pitches open all year. A standard pitch includes two people, a caravan and a car, plus free use of showers, toilets and hot and cold water, and free wifi; tourist tax and electricity are billed separately. On site is 'Het Theehuis', a tea house open daily from 8.30 to 22.30. The camp also offers a four-person holiday home, long-stay and full-season pitches, and winter storage for caravans. SVR members receive a discount on nightly rates.
