About the camp
Camping De Hoppenhof is run by Harke and Anneke Holtrop in Peize, Drenthe. Pitches for tents, caravans and campers up to and over 7 metres each include electricity and the first two guests free, alongside a car-free 'Trekkerstentje' pitch for hikers and cyclists. Guests who would rather not share the sanitary building can rent a private sanitary unit per pitch by advance reservation. Beyond camping, the park rents a small hiker's cabin (trekkershut) and a 4-person static caravan by the weekend or week, and offers horse-drawn carriage (huifkar) rides. Coin-operated hot water and showers, a washing machine and dryer, and WiFi are available on site. Arrival is from 13:30, departure before noon.
