About the camp
The campsite is at Leenstertillen 4 in Zuurdijk, in the Het Hogeland area north of Groningen, and belongs to Natuurkampeerterreinen, the Dutch nature-campsite network (a membership card can be bought on site). Pitches are split across three fields: hardened pitches (Field 1), a field beside the toilet building (Field 2), and smaller pitches numbered 11-21 (Field 3). A dedicated, cheaper walk-up pitch is reserved for touring hikers and cyclists staying at most two nights; car campers use the regular pitches instead. A simple hiker's hut sleeping up to two can also be rented. The season runs 22 April to 1 October, arrival 13:00-19:00, departure by 11:30. Groups are not accepted and an extra tent needs prior arrangement.
