About the camp
A small-scale, personal campsite with just 15 pitches for tents, caravans and campers (up to 6 metres), part-hardstanding. The owners describe it as a place for people who enjoy the simple things -- rest, space, nature and a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Located at Galgenberg 3 in Bergharen, in the rural Land van Maas & Waal between Wijchen and Druten, about 20 minutes from Nijmegen; the village has a supermarket, lunchroom and terrace. Facilities are basic and shared: two showers, two toilets, two private wash cubicles and a dishwashing area with warm water, free wifi, and 6-ampere electricity (no air conditioning allowed). There are no seasonal pitches. Nearby: cycling and walking routes, ferries, Bloemenpark Appeltern, castles and the Thermen Berendonck spa.
