About the camp
De Ooster Nollen lies in the dunes near Callantsoog, between the North Sea coast and the region's colourful bulb fields. The dune terrain holds 75 pitches, some reserved specifically for motorhomes, spread out across the site for a mix of open space and shelter, with electric hook-ups (the page states both 10A on its facility list and 16A in its own descriptive text). Facilities include a sanitary building, showers, a playground, a library, wifi, jeu de boules and a washing machine, dryer and spin-dryer. The beach and the village of Callantsoog, with its shops and terraces, lie about two kilometres away; the surrounding dune landscape, including the Zwanenwater nature reserve, is popular for cycling and walking. The site manager's own description: a unique spot between dunes, beach and bulb fields. No caravan/motorhome storage is offered during the April-October camping season.
