About the camp
A small working farm campsite (Boerderijcamping) run by the van Dam family, between Alkmaar and Egmond aan Zee in North Holland. Pitches suit tents, caravans and motorhomes, priced as one flat nightly rate for 1-2 people that already covers tourist tax, a car parking space, 6-amp electricity and wifi. A farm shop selling local produce is open daily. The site is affiliated with SVR (Stichting Vrije Recreatie): donor members get a season-long nightly discount, and guests touring with only a small hiker's or cyclist's tent get a further discount. Reservations go through an online request form, confirmed by phone with a deposit; check-in is from noon, check-out before 11am.
