About the camp

A rustic nature campsite on the Waaldijk in the Betuwe region of Gelderland, positioned for campers who want to fully unwind along the river Waal. Pitches for 2 people are offered on either the Waal (river) side or the Dijk (levee) side, plus a separate reduced-rate pitch for hikers and cyclists arriving without a car. The site keeps a small book exchange for guests and sits within reach of the Betuwse struinroute walking trail, a ferry crossing to the moated castle Slot Loevestein, and the fortress town of Gorinchem. There is no online booking; reservations are made by phone, Monday to Saturday.
