About the camp
Camping Groenendaal sits on a working dairy farm outside Gulpen, in the quiet, hilly Gulp valley of South Limburg's Heuvelland. The family farm still runs as a modern dairy operation, growing its own grass, corn and straw for cattle feed and bedding and supplying milk to dairy Arla, giving the site a real farm-stay character. The grounds are entirely car-free: spacious grass pitches surround a large open field, a few paved pitches serve motorhomes, and a separate tent field is reserved for hikers and cyclists. Electricity, water, wifi and a parking spot are included with every pitch. Gulpen, Maastricht, Valkenburg and Aachen are all a short drive away, amid walking and cycling routes through meadows, streams and sunken lanes.
