About the camp
A long-established, small-scale campsite that prides itself on space and quiet, in the village of Balgoy between Gelderland and Brabant. Pitches have electricity (10 Amp), a private tap and water drainage, and free wifi; sanitary facilities have been recently renovated, and there is a chemical-toilet dump point, separated waste collection, a play meadow with small animals, and equipped BBQs. A separate Trekkerstent pitch suits hikers and cyclists without a car. The surrounding Maas en Waal countryside offers walking and cycling along the Maas river, historic churches and castles, the model gardens at Appeltern, and children's attractions; Wijchen (3 km) and Nijmegen (10 km) are close by for shops, restaurants and an indoor pool.
