About the camp
A small, family-run farm campsite (the name 'Koeienpad' means 'cow path') in Eexterveen, Drenthe, open 1 April to 1 October depending on the weather. The standard pitch takes two people with a caravan, folding trailer, camper or tent, and includes electricity, wifi, hot showers, on-site car parking and tourist tax. A cheaper car-free hiker's pitch is available for up to two people, excluding tourist tax. Children under 6 stay free, 6-12 year-olds pay a reduced rate, and dogs are welcome at no charge. Besides pitches, the site rents a fully furnished caravan with a fixed bed, two-ring stove and wash area (own bedding required), and runs a farm shop and Bed & Breakfast.
