About the camp
Camping Landgoed den Heuvel sits on a hillside in Groesbeek, close to Nijmegen, with views over the fields and the wooded Reichswald just across the German border. The site has welcomed campers for more than 50 years and draws regulars from Groesbeek, Nijmegen, Mook, Molenhoek, Malden and the nearby German towns of Kleve and Kranenburg, alongside visitors from across the Netherlands and abroad. It has about 30 pitches, all with electricity, plus a separate section for groups. Grass, play space and a small playground make it suitable for families. The site holds the Dutch SVR quality mark, offers free WiFi, and is open six months a year, from Easter through the autumn half-term holiday. It is also promoted as a quiet base during the Nijmegen Vierdaagse walking event.
