Camping Markdal is a small-scale, family-run recreation park directly on the river De Mark at the edge of Standdaarbuiten (Moerdijk), with 60 pitches, a private recreational lake, a small marina and a range of rental chalets.

About the camp

Recreatiepark Markdal has been run by owners Klaas and Sylvia Smit since 2015, who grew the site from about 30 to 60 pitches around a recreational lake linked by water to the river De Mark. For 2026 the camping terrain and tent field were renewed around a small stream, themed on the kingfisher. The park suits families, rest-seekers, anglers, dog owners and boaters: there is a sandy beach, fishing pier, canoe rental, a 2,500 m2 vegetable garden with free-range chickens, sheep and pigs, table tennis and organised high-season activities. Beyond camping pitches, the park rents furnished chalets for short and long stays, offers winter storage for caravans and campers, and has its own small marina.
