About the camp
Marisheem Chalet & Caravanpark sits in the wooded nature area 'het Marissen' near Echt, with walking routes leading straight from the campsite into the adjacent Kranenbroek woods. The Maasplassen, the Netherlands' largest connected water-sports area, are about 7 km away for swimming, sailing, canoeing, diving and boat trips, and the cities of Roermond, Sittard and Maastricht are within reach for culture, shopping and dining. Alongside touring pitches (car, caravan and awning up to 4 m², up to 4 people) the park also offers chalet, annual and seasonal placements. Advance reservation is required, high season bookings need a minimum one-week stay, and the park does not accept reservations for or by unaccompanied young people, keeping the camping side family-oriented.
