Camping Noorderloo is a small-scale, sustainable nature campsite in a sunny open forest in the Westerwolde landscape near Vriescheloo, Oost-Groningen. It offers seven pitch types across five-and-a-half forest camping circles -- including dog-friendly areas and a car-free hiker/cyclist field -- plus newly built wooden eco cabins to rent. It stands out for its own natural swimming pond, a vegan self-service bar, and official recognition as a Natuurkampeerterrein (nature campsite) since July 2024.
