About the camp
Camping Ommelanden is run as a members' association ('vereniging'): the grounds and buildings are maintained by the members themselves, with the season opened each year at a general members' meeting and closed with a communal leaf-raking day. All pitches have electricity and water connections, shut off over winter, and a new toilet and shower building was completed in 2022, kept clean by members on a cleaning rota. The site is for adults aged 40 and over only and is not suited to families with children, though children are welcome to visit. Membership comes with an annual contribution, a one-time registration fee, and shared maintenance days; leashed dogs are welcome.
