About the camp
Camping Ruimzicht is a small, SVR-affiliated campsite in Midwoud, North Holland, run by Rene Houter. Pitches include a car, electricity, shower access and hot water, priced per person per night with a lower rate for SVR (Stichting Vrije Recreatie) members. A separate, simpler trekkerstent pitch (hiker's tent, shower only, no electricity) is offered at a reduced price for one or two people. Extras such as an additional car, a second tent, extra electricity use, children, and day visitors are charged separately. Tourist tax and WIFI are included in every price. Dogs are not allowed, and groups larger than two caravans cannot be accommodated. The campsite is open from 20 April to 20 September, and departure is expected by noon.
