About the camp
Guests are met by the ter Braak family, who are nearly always at the farm, at the end of a long driveway lined with beautiful oaks. There is no fixed pitch plan: you choose your own spot, in the shade under a tree or in the sun by the Twentekanaal, and electricity is close wherever you stand. Your car may park next to the caravan. The centrally placed sanitary building, the 'Schöppe', was renewed in 2019 and holds showers, toilets, covered dishwashing stations and a communal sitting area; all facilities are also usable by guests with reduced mobility. It is an unmanned piece of Twente hospitality, pitched as rust, ruimte & natuur: the owners introduce guests, at a relaxed pace, to what Twente offers, from cycling routes and museums to walking and fishing. Rates follow SVR guidelines and everything is included in one price, with fresh cow milk from the farm for a euro a litre.
