About the camp
De Grutte Earen calls itself a boerencamping, a farm campsite, and the price page says what that means for a guest: a green setting where respect for nature is still ordinary, the wide views and smells of farmland, and silence broken only by frogs, birds and the wind. Every pitch is quoted per night and includes electricity, one parking place for the car and use of the sanitary facilities; the tractor tent pitch is the cheapest and comes without electricity. The three rentals (a farm chalet, a stacaravan and a chalet) all add coffee and tea, the stacaravan has a cooking facility, and the farm chalet is the one that carries a free breakfast.
