Campsite
A small farm campsite in the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen polder at Biervliet, near Terneuzen and Breskens, run by the same family since 1992. Two fields hold 25 spacious pitches in total, and one nightly price covers two persons, a caravan, camper or tent, 6 A electricity, wifi and tourist tax. The farm also rents out chalets.

About the camp
De Helenahoeve began as a meadow with fifteen places beside an arable farm and grew into a quiet spot in the Zeeuws-Vlaamse countryside. Today Daniël and Nikki welcome guests with their family, from daily animal care to their own Boeren- en Boerinnenpad trail, so there is something for children as well as for campers after rest. The front field is cosy and family-friendly, with fourteen places between laurel and fruit trees, a sanitary building, a cosy recreation room and a playfield with trampoline, swings and slide. The back field is for quiet and privacy: eleven wide places, a terrace with picnic tables under parasol trees and a fine view over the polder.

The camp lies on its own farm grounds at Helenaweg 1 in Biervliet, in the open Zeeuws-Vlaamse polder, close to Terneuzen and to Breskens on the coast. Around the camping fields the family farms 67 hectares of arable land laid out as agroforestry, with apples, pears, plums, berries, raspberries and paulownia growing between the crops and a mobile coop for 150 free-range chickens moving between the trees.
