About the camp
The camp's own motto is cosy camping around the fishing pond, and the pond is its centrepiece, lit at night with a fountain. Alongside it stands a canteen named in the local dialect, "krek wa'k woo", which doubles as the bad-weather room. Pitches are wide and hard-standing with 10 ampere electricity, water and a sewer connection; the sanitary building is described as heated and luxurious, with a washing machine and dryer. There is hard-standing parking, covered bike storage and a jeu de boules court, and cars can be charged on site. The owners stress the calm and the cross-border cycling and walking routes that start at the gate, with the village a 2 km stroll. The site is open from 1 April to 15 October.
