De Kleine Rug is a small nature campsite at the edge of the open country in what its own pages call the oldest city of Holland. Besides the tent pitches of its Natuurkampeerterrein it lets a two-person hiker's hut, a four-person log cabin and a nature-friend house that is rented to a group per person per bed, and it hires out canoes and boats itself.

About the camp
The camp offers three ways to stay: pitches billed per person and per tent place, a trekkershut for two and a blokhut for four hired per hut per night, and a Natuurvriendenhuis whose beds go per person per night to a group taking the whole house. Canoes, a Canadian canoe and boat trips are hired from the site, with life jackets and a waterway chart provided, and the Bevertocht trip runs on two boats seating twelve and eight people. A party tent, a playground, a gas barbecue for house guests and a free charcoal barbecue cover the outdoor side, and a washing machine, a dryer, bed linen for rent and a house caretaker are listed for longer stays. NIVON and NFI members pay less.
