About the camp
The camp sits between the kwelder meadows and the Wad, a few steps from the Wadden Sea, on the calm east end of the island where it really is dark at night and birds wake you in the morning. There are no rows of tents on a tight field, but spacious grass pitches with a view, and the place suits rest-seekers, couples, solo travellers and families alike. Children can walk into the barn to watch the cows, and there is a recreation field, a trampoline and a sandpit. The sanitary building stands 75 metres from the farmhouse, with free hot showers, a laundry room and a complete camping kitchen. Besides own-tent pitches there are two new Duintentjes de Luxe in safari-tent style, six simple Duintentjes for two and four De Waard family tents for four, all pre-erected.
