About the camp
The family started the camping in the late seventies beside their farm's group accommodation, and the two still share the grounds. Guests pitch on one of three fields with 25 places in total: at the forest edge, where the woods start directly from the camp, or facing the meadow where three small ponies, Lola, Mellow and Binky, are kept. The sanitary block is cleaned daily and has 4 showers, 6 toilets, a lockable wash-off with hot and cold water, washing-up counters inside and out, a washing machine with a spin dryer and a place to empty a chemical toilet. Being 200 m from the main road, with animals all around, makes the camp child-friendly and children help feed the ponies. Horse and pony owners may bring their animal to the meadow, and travellers with a covered wagon (huifkar) are welcome.

Slenerweg 85 on the edge of Schoonoord in Drenthe, about 200 m from the main road and directly on the forest border. The recreation room of the farm's Brammert building is open during part of the summer holiday, with games and a sjoelbak.
