About the camp
De Schijvenaer is a small campsite run by the Veeke family, summed up on its own site as rest and freedom with Brabant sociability. Campers bring their own caravan, large tent, small tent or camper and pay a night fee per person plus a fee for that one item of housing; two people with a caravan or large tent is the cheapest night on the list. There are no seasonal pitches. Facilities are modest but complete: a separate sanitary building whose women's side has two showers, two toilets and three washbasins, whose men's side has two showers, three washbasins, one toilet and one urinal, and under whose canopy sit three washing-up places with cold and warm water. Showers run on a coin, electricity is metered, and day visitors are welcome.
