About the camp

De Spekberg lies tucked away along the Maas, close to Venlo, and suits lovers of nature, river landscapes and Limburgse gezelligheid. The terrain has 53 spacious pitches spread over small green fields, sheltered by trees and shrubs, with water tap points spread across the site and a camper dump station. An asphalt road runs right around the terrain, so every pitch is easy to reach, and guests with a caravan, tent or trailer tent park the car at the pitch. The beating heart is the Spekhoes, the cosy activities room: coffee in the morning, a happy hour in the afternoon, and communal meals in the evening, often cooked with help from enthusiastic members. Children have a playground with bikes and skelters; older kids and adults find tennis, golf, swimming and horse riding nearby. Nothing must, everything may, exactly as camping is meant to be.
